Onyx Pirarucu

Jet black Pirarucu. Each scale plate is oversized, overlapping, physically three-dimensional, dyed to a deep onyx that absorbs light at the center and catches it at every raised edge. The surface reads almost geological — like obsidian that breathes. No two panels cut identically. The scale seams are hand-stitched with matching black thread, invisible until you're close enough to understand the labor. Shaft is jet black smooth calf leather, clean and unembellished — a deliberate choice that lets the Pirarucu vamp carry the entire conversation. Minimal diamond cutwork at the collar in matching fish leather. Square toe, broad and authoritative. Raw walnut stacked heel, natural welt edge.
