The Deputy
Genuine bull neck leather across the full vamp — one of the most underutilized exotic hides in Western footwear. The neck cut presents a deeply textured, heavily grained surface: irregular wrinkle patterns, natural fold marks, dense grain variation that no two hides replicate. Dark espresso-brown, the surface alternating between matte depths and subtle sheen at every ridge. This is working leather — the neck of an animal that carried weight and weather — and it shows in the best possible way. Hand-laced rawhide whipstitch traces the entire vamp perimeter and toe seam — labor-intensive, visible, deliberate. That stitching isn't reinforcement. It's signature. The shaft is matching espresso calf, smooth against the textured vamp, topped with a Greek key embroidery band at the collar in cognac thread — architectural, repeating, precise. Pointed snip toe. Low stacked dark heel.
This boot carries the weight of the animal it came from.
